Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer with us in the Friends of the Library Bookstore to spread the fun of reading and support our local library system.

Typical volunteer duties include:

• Ringing up sales on a cash register and processing credit card payments.
• Alphabetizing and shelving books, tidying up shelves
• Answering basic customer questions regarding inventory and donation policies
• Sorting through book donations in accordance with our donation guidelines

Qualifications:

• Must be a member of the San Clemente Friends of the Library
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Volunteer for at least one shift per month (preferably more). Bookstore shifts are from 10:45 am to 2:15 pm, Monday through Friday. Two shifts are available on Saturdays from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:15 pm
